Samantha Sutcliffe is a visual artist, film-maker and founder of Uncensored New York. She is interested in the following topics: suburbia, sexuality, fiction and how the consumption of mass media shapes and modifies our perception. In 2021 she founded Uncensored New York, an art movement against censorship paying homage to transgression from earlier generations. Over a period of four years Samantha has programmed lectures, curated exhibitions and distributed independent cinema and music with a dedication to the preservation and production of art in this daunting socio-political landscape.
